Jessica Smith, LCSW
Throughout my work, I have consistently observed the profound impact that generational trauma has on the healing journey of women and girls. I often find it pivotal in the therapeutic process to guide women and girls toward beautifully connected and healed relationships, as many of my sessions focus on unpacking relationship dynamics and how stress, anxiety, and trauma impact their lives and the relationships that are important to them. This is not just my profession; it is my calling. My commitment to serving the women and girls in this space has become the catalyst and core purpose of Inmost Being. I have also had the unique experience of working with Veteran Women as a Military and Family Life Counselor; and I am a devoted wife to a retired service member of the armed forces.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University; then went on to pursue my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina-Columbia. I am a Certified Trauma Informed Care Practitioner and a Certified Mother-Daughter Coach. I am licensed in the District of Columbia, Virginia, North Carolina and Hawaii.
I am excited to connect with women and girls from our home base in the DMV area and North Carolina. Thank you for entrusting me with your well-being.
Let’s embark on this transformative journey together!
